Well, we are working on a spec house in the beautiful North Valley of ABQ, a quaint old village called Los Ranchos and it's begun to snow this week.
How beautiful it all looks with the winter white covering on the sleepy little village.
Progress though is a bit slower in the snow. We were preparing to plaster the outside of the adobe home and Casita, and it looks like we will have to re-group and instead plaster the inside, because despite being able to plaster in the snow, the final coat must have an outdoor temperature of at least 40 degrees Farenheit for a sustained time of 4 hours to cure properly and after 30 plus years of doing this in the New Mexican winters, I know when to wait.
If you have any questions regarding the use of the ultimate 'green' building material - ADOBE, don't hesitate to write with your questions.
Until the snow melts,
Mudman
